To fix the white around the text. Add 'background-color:#000' to the css.

But that isn't to good. Because it makes the whole line black. I will add a setting to the backend params about the transparent color setting.

The test string is default -> The cutting is wrong for me.

Changing the test string to a different one (the whole alphabet) -> cutting is still wrong.

All under the "Ground Zero Line" is cut.

The test string also seems not work for me.

Feels like me and my page are something "special"...

Forgot to say you need to clear you cache to. In joomla folder '/cache/' remove all *.png

Cache is cleaned. The "white border" is away now. The trick with the background-color in black is not so bad for me and my page background. Looks good...

Is there any way to fix the "Letter-Cut-Bug" by hand?

I'm having same problem (content heading invisible)
my system:
Joomla! 1.5.14
PHP 5.2.5
GD enabled
Free Type enabled


I do not understand how can I fix /plugins/system/pcdtr/png.php
I appreciate it if you could help me.

Hi mountain!

You've got to download the png.php from your server with an ftp-program like filezilla.

Then open the file with an editor of your choice and edit it in the described way.

Save and upload it back to the server. Overwrite the old png.php.

That's all.
